Tech Series – Progressive Diesel Management Diagnosis Johnny B
Progressive Diesel Management Diagnosis – 2 Days
This course builds on the knowledge and skills covered in our Essential series training and is designed to take your understanding of diesel engine management systems and diagnostic ability to the next level. The course encompasses much of the popular and new functionality found on modern systems and gives the technician an enhanced comprehension essential for accurate diagnosis.
You’ll take a close look at the fuel delivery system and use both serial data and scopes for on vehicle component diagnosis as well as investigating the bench testing of injectors. You’ll learn about cylinder pressure sensing and how this affects fuel control, along with glow technology and how this differs from earlier systems. You’ll also discover a world of diagnostic joy in the exhaust system as we explore the design, functionality and diagnosis of oxidation catalysts, SCR systems and DPF’s covering all the sensors and additional actuators that come with those systems.
As with all our courses you’ll get a great balance of theory and practical testing, using generic and manufacturer serial diagnostic tooling as well as multi channel scope testing and use the WPS500X. It’s two days of diesel diagnostic love you’re not going to want to miss.
